The Story Behind TGX Creative

This didn't start with a company.
It started with curiosity.

“Before TGX Creative became a vision, creativity was simply how I understood the world.”

01 / The Beginning

Before I knew what a creative career was, I knew I wanted to create.

I grew up drawn to everything visual — drawing, sketching, rearranging images, messing with music, fashion, technology, media, culture. Creativity wasn't a plan. It wasn't a career path. It was just the way I naturally tried to understand the world around me.

I'd experiment for hours, chasing a feeling more than a result. Trying different ways to express an idea. Most of it went nowhere. All of it taught me something.

I didn't have a roadmap. I didn't know where any of it was headed. I just knew I wanted to keep creating.

“I didn't know where creativity would take me. I just knew I wanted to keep creating.”

02 / Design

Creativity started becoming a direction.

Eventually the curiosity started pointing somewhere. I got serious about graphic design, branding, visual communication, storytelling — the thinking behind why a visual works.

That was the shift. Creating stopped being just an interest. It became something I could imagine building my whole life around.

Design taught me something I still use every day: a great visual isn't just something that looks good. It communicates an idea. It creates an emotion. It changes how people perceive something.

New York City · 2015 — 2017

Sometimes you have to leave home to discover who you're becoming.

In 2015 I moved to New York to pursue design and put myself inside a bigger creative environment. The city became a chapter of growth I didn't fully expect — new perspectives, new people, architecture, fashion, culture, brands, art, and an energy I'd never been around before. New York pushed how I saw everything.

04 / Photography

Then I picked up a camera — and everything changed.

While I was still pursuing design, photography became another way to tell stories. It changed the way I looked at people, environments, brands, details, light, composition, moments. The camera became more than equipment. It became another creative language.

New York shaped the perspective. Charlotte became the place to build it.

After 2015 — 2017 in New York, I made the decision to come back to North Carolina. But I didn't come back as the same creative who left.

I brought back the perspective, the inspiration, the love for photography — everything that grew in those years. Charlotte became the next canvas.

Photography kept growing. Relationships grew. Projects got bigger. Photography expanded into video. Video expanded into branding. Branding expanded into strategy. And individual creative services gradually began connecting into something bigger.

06 / The Vision

Why should a brand need five different companies to build one vision?

After working across different parts of the creative industry, I kept noticing the same problem. A business would need a photographer. Then a videographer. Then a designer. Then branding. Then a website. Then content. Then marketing strategy.

And most of the time, none of those pieces talked to each other.

One vision.

One creative partner.

Everything connected.

07 / TGX Creative

The one-stop creative partner I once wished existed.

TGX Creative is the result of every chapter before this one. A Charlotte-based creative agency built to help brands, businesses, entrepreneurs, artists, and creators turn ideas into complete visual experiences.

This isn't about providing individual services. The purpose is to understand the bigger vision behind a brand — and connect strategy, storytelling, design, and production under one creative direction.

The Story Continues

I'm still the kid who wanted to create. The vision just got bigger.

“Every city, project, photograph, mistake, opportunity, and idea became part of the foundation for TGX Creative. What started as curiosity became a career. What became a career eventually became a company. And we're still building.”

Let's build what's next.
